Top Club Angling competition is a 5 man team event from local fishing clubs/organisation’s in the North East. 25 Teams fished the event on Sunday 19th November 2023. Longbenton & Seaton Burn entering 5 teams, A, B, C, D and E.

Longbenton & Seaton Burn A Team winning the event, overall accumulative bag for 5 man team 30lb 6oz. Winning Team Gav Wallace, Alan Parker, Keith Smith, Tom Sawyer and Dave McKenzie. Keith Smith also taking Heaviest bag of 13lb 13oz.
Heaviest fish by was caught by Mark Igo with a Cod of 5lb 9oz. Winning Heaviest fish by 1oz.
Great turnout by the Club and a great competition. Almost £600 raised for Tynemouth RNLI in memory of Karl McLaughlan. Well all Longbenton teams and all teams from all clubs who entered.
