Longbenton & Seaton Burn Sea Anging Club

About

Longbenton and Seaton Burn Sea Angling club is based in the North East of England.  The Club fishes around the North Tyneside area but has open boundaries in club matches.  The club also has access to Tynemouth Pier for certain club matches.

The club fishes a some of the best cod marks in the UK.  Heavy ground rock marks,  beaches, Tynemouth Pier or River Tyne.  The region has a bit of everything for every angler.  Clean ground beaches to super rough ground marks and everything in between.

The club competitions comprise of Saturday League (Tynemouth Pier or roving),  Sunday League (Tynemouth Pier or roving),  Thursday League (Tynemouth Pier or roving), Winter Night Hawks (Roving) and Summer Night Hawks (Pegged River Tyne).    The club also has 2 Wednesday Sessions on Tynemouth Pier a month (24 over the year).  These are not matches and are pleasure sessions for club members to fish the pier. The club is also looking at fishing some beach pegged matches in 2023.  These will not be part of the club championship for 2023.   The club is looking at arranging a weekend away in 2023.  This will likely be to Scotland.  The club has previously been to Portpatrick, Isle of Whithorn and Skegness for weekends away.
